Since I’m done with my about me…. I will write about my home land…
Here is an A to Z, about my home land, with little bits of introduction… Hi I am Karah, and I am writing about my home land… Although I spend most of my life in Thailand, where I was born, I am a Filipino, and I consider Philippines as my home land… I live in various places around Philippines, my mom came from Ozamiz City in Mindanao, while my dad came from 2 places, Cebu City and Leyte in Visayas (For your information Philippines consists, of three major islands namely LUZON, VISAYAS, and MINDANAO). My family tries to visit our relatives in those three places every year. In Cebu City, my sister and mine’s favorite thing to do is skating and eating. My mom’s favorite thing to do is going shopping, while my dad likes to go out with his friends. While at home, my sister and I like to just watch TV, play gadgets, and play with the pet dogs there, where I recently got bitten by one (That’s another story), my sister loves to play with a puppy named KiKay. My sister likes to carry her, because she is light as a stuff toy, but can fight like a tiny monster. Nothing can stop my sister from playing with Kikay, even though my mom keeps on warning her to play with care. Ozamiz City is much quieter than Cebu. There is really not much to do there, but luckily there is Jollibee, my favorite Restaurant. Mostly we play, chat and eat with cousins, and relatives there. During December we visit some cousins in the Tangub City where it’s known as Christmas symbols capital of the Philippines, because of its beautiful lights displayed at the plaza. In Leyte, we went under the sea to see corals and fishes. At first it was very scary, because it was deep. But because of our eXcitement, we the young ones, readily jumped off from the raft, with zero percent of nervousness… “SPWASH” Off we go!!! Holidays in Philippines is always fun, Can actually do things in tons, If you understand, I’m Proud of this home land, I will always treasure this one!!! |
