I guess farewell to all! Week 10 has finally come! But before I stop posting, we have this last one until March, hopefully!
My mom's LONG INTERVIEW!!!!
What were your first impressions of this blog? The first blog that I read was your Activity 1, your first blog featured at Flipboard. And it really amazed me how you were able to express yourself so well and in that creative way. You have revealed a lot of your personality in that blog that even me and dad didn’t know before. I couldn’t contained my happiness and pride that I immediately shared it at once with friends and family. And I suddenly became your fan and follower. I always visit your website, to read more blogs and check if you’ve already done your weekly tasks.. hehe.. What captured your attention? I love your poems, I myself love writing poems when I was younger, but I’m impressed with how you do it at your age. I couldn’t make as good as that when I was 11. I also love your videos and am amazed how good are you at making them. I know now whom to ask when I would need creative presentations for special occasions. so better be ready. What distracted you on the blog? I had to read through your blogs again to see what distracted me, but no major thing really. I love all your blogs, for me, they’re really good for your age level, but I know you can still improve them, maybe write more details or information on the topics. In some blogs, I feel that there could still be more feelings and emotions that you could express or share. What suggestions can you give me to improve my blog? Keep on writing. Make it a hobby to write. One of your blogs says “Good practice makes perfect!” So it applies to writing as well. It’s a good way of expressing yourself, while at the same time continuously developing your skills. If there’s anything that will inspire you in your day-to-day life, big or small, write it, share it. It’d not only be for your own satisfaction, it also would make us even prouder and happier as your parents. J And surely, I would definitely not mind having a professional writer for a daughter someday. ;)

![]() Everyone has a favorite "thing", right? Well now you are reading about my favorite sport. While most of my friends like soccer, my interest is in Basketball. Some say a girl can't play basketball? Maybe you do! Well you are wrong! Via: Compfight I started playing Basketball when I was in Grade 2. I usually play at 5:00 pm with my friends (who are mostly boys). My dad always tells me not to play too hard on them, or else I can beat them up, hehehe…, while my mom always warns me to be careful because I have a dental issue, and I need to protect myself not to be hit. Sometimes, on Saturday mornings, I go with my dad to watch him play his basketball matches with other Filipinos and have tournaments around Bangkok. When my dad was young, he often received the MVP (Most Valuable Player) award, but who knows now? I have learned some techniques, and the most useful one is to aim at the inner square/rectangle for a good chance to shoot in the hoop. There were days, when I couldn’t play basketball, due to homework, exams, or just too lazy to go out. When I played again I could hardly shoot, and then I would start wondering “Did I become weaker?” or “Is Basketball still my favorite sport?” or “Did my friends become stronger?” Then I realized that I need to improve, and the way to improve is to play often, practice daily. These days I try my best to play every day. I guess I would become a good basketball player someday, and become MVP like my dad perhaps. All I can say is “Good Practice Makes You Perfect”. Next year, when I move to another school, I hope to join a basketball team! Now that you listened to me, I want to listen to you! Tell me, what is your favorite sport? When did you start playing it? Why did you play it? Will you continue if an accident happens to you? Was this sport your passion or your hobby? Will you ever stop playing it and why? All the blogs I visited were great but Alexandra caught my attention. For that I nominate her for the best blog. Why? Let's find out!
As I mentioned she has caught my attention. Her creativity grabbed me away from the rest. Her posts are so interesting that I had to read them. Please don't argue, it fits me like a horse shoe, just like my personality. Since this is the most important part of the challenge I made a signature poem for her. :) I'm proving that I vote for her, I think she'll not even bother, Shall I nominate? Even though she is not my classmate! Yes! I am sure, I’ll nominate her! ![]() Every December our choir does caroling for a cause. Caroling is singing Christmas songs to houses to share the Christmas joys to families and to collect money to give to orphans and street children at a slum area in Bangkok, Thailand. From very young age, I go with my parents to caroling. We sing for about 30 mins or more in one house. Sometimes, we go to more than 2 houses in one night. Via: Pinterest The families will prepare delicious food for us and give us money. The kids will sing the 'Give Love on Christmas Day'. When I was a kid (Which I still am), I felt like my voice was missing, it felt weird when only kids sang, but really there were Vince, Cheeska and me. The other kids have reached there teen age, I am about to reach mine. In some houses, the families will give special presents to the kids like me, for example money, from my godparents when we carol in their house. At the end of caroling time, we will visit the Mercy Center at Klong Toey, Bangkok, to give the money to the orphanage. We will sing songs to the children there, give them our old stuff toys and other toys, and clothes, eat with them and play with them. I feel sad for the kids without Mommy and Daddy. I feel blessed that I have my own parents, both alive, and that I can always ask them for whatever I need, but sadly I don’t really get everything that I ask for… Hehehe… If you ever joined The Caroling Group, and you received money for your excellent performance, what will you do with it? If you had the opportunity to join will you take the chance? If you were the head of this group, what days are your performances allowed on? ![]() Drama club is about DRAMA!!! Drama in other words means acting. For the past few years I have been a part of this program, from Grade 3 to date! The point of Drama is to build up your confidence on acting, and maybe one day you will become an actor yourself, all because of this program. Via: PhotoBucket Well everyone has a goal on something, right? And my aim is to build up my confidence in acting, the “true” me, thought, can show myself only in my family. I think it is proven everywhere. Am I right? Other goal is to have fun. Before a Drama Show starts we have to have lots of activities, if we want to find the perfect person for a specific role. First we have our Team Building. We do activities that involve teamwork. We have to find everyone’s weak sport, to be individual or to work in a group. If no one cooperates the whole show will be ruined, no one will understand. Next we have our Voice Development. Some are soft and some are strong. If the main characters have soft voice, how will the audience hear what’s the story about? Our “Drama” teacher lets us improve our voice, so it is clear and heard by the audience. Next she asks us what a theatre is. Everyone has their own meaning but I will tell mine. A theatre is somewhere with a stage and seats for the actors to act and entertainment for the audience. No one wants something boring, I mean, what is the fun when there’s nothing to enjoy. The last, but not the least is Stage Setup. Know what is “stage setup”? Well it is when you setup the stage, get prepared, ready for the play. Finally! Let us watch the show… … That was Amazing! My previous plays, also favorite were ‘Save the Lofty Trees’, ‘Pied Piper of Hamlin’, ‘Pinocchio’, and ‘Peggy the Pint Sized Pirate’. But my most favorite one was ‘Save the Lofty Trees’. CLICK ME to go to the schools website to see some photos on “Save the Lofty Trees” You might be wondering, why I like drama club, well it is because of the fun, and other reasons that teachers do not want to hear! Well I will just say it; it is because sometimes, when it is just few days from the play we get to skip some periods of class. Sorry teachers, but that’s how I feel. Hehehe… Now I want to know your opinion on this Topic. Here are your questions… What shows would you like my school to do and why? If you performed at your school, how did your tummy felt like? If you had a chance to join this club, would you join, why or why not? ![]() There are lots of things I want to change about my school, but this one affects my sleep! Yes, I am talking about school time being too early! My school starts at 8:00 am and I hate it when I have to wake up early in the morning, especially when I sleep late! Usually when we wake up, we all just want to go back to sleep! Right? Well, that means when we go to school, we are still sleepy! And when we are sleepy, we learn nothing! I mean NOTHING! And school is meant to be a place for learning, right? Also we can get scolded by the teachers for being sleepy, not that I have experienced, hehehe… If I have to choose to either, wake up early to be in school on time or to make a request to school to start it a little late, I would go for the second option because I am a “Night Owl”, which means I sleep late, and am sleepy in the morning. What do you think? Tell me in the comment section below! I would also like to know what time would you like your school to start, and if you were granted to change one thing about school, what would it be!
